Christmas
1999 became a life changing event orchestrated by my children. Each present opened was
leading to a grand finale theme called "Just Do It". You see… my son and
daughter were concerned about my health and both stated they wanted me with them for many
more years. This is how Joyce Tremethick and her One 2 One Fitness center came into my
life. I had been given a personal fitness trainer as the 1st step in my new quest…
"Just Do It"! Realizing how much I was loved and wanted gave me the motivation
to take a good look at my life. This good look revealed how much I did not like my
physical self which affected my emotional well being.
Joyce made me feel I could regain my physical health and
self esteem through a commitment to her proven program. I felt Joyce would support me and
provide the continuing motivation to reach my goal. Step 2 began in mid January 2000.
Many hurdles had to be overcome such as age… I am 58
years old, medication for elevated blood pressure, hormones, changing of eating habits,
water retention, self esteem, and making a commitment. One 2 One has been my companion
three times a week for 10 months now and the difference is reflected in my picture. Joyce
has supported me, anguished with me, prodded me and loved me throughout each
"inch" that departed my body and moved to enhance my self esteem.
Some pluses involve (1) no more blood pressure
medication, (2) increased stamina… I can walk three flights of stairs in the parking
garage without gasping for breath, (3) my clothes are down 3 sizes!!, (4) increased
"I know I can… I know I can" attitude by walking and finishing the 5K Turkey
Trot in 55 minutes and 30 seconds, and (5) making new friends.
If my story will help just one person like me know One 2
One Fitness will work for them they can borrow my "Just Do It" phrase. Thank you
Joyce Tremethick and thanks to your One 2 One Fitness program I am getting reacquainted
with the true person I am.
